That is a question for a shop--- after they diagnose
any problem you may have & come up with a solution.
Hardly any questions can be answered on the internet
You have no way to know what is wrong with the product
Ever have a repair shop quote a price on the unknown,
without having the car to test
You Tube Video may give you what you asking, as far as
seeing the transaxle & how to replace the module.

Is a Throttle Position Sensor the same thing as a Transmission control Module

The TPS ( THOTTLE POSITION SENSOR) tells the engine computer and trans how far you are pushing the gas pedal. Its mounted on the side of the thottle body. It will make the engine surge if it is failing. Have replaced this part many times for this problem. TCM (TRANS CONTROL MODULE) control trans shifting. The tps is and one of the input sensor for shifting.

Can i change my automatic transmission to a standard transmission in my early model 2004 dodge ram 2500 diesel

The short answer is no

the list of replacement parts would most likely exceed $8000, trans, trans control module, engine control modules, complete engine & trans wiring harness, trans, modifacation to the firewall, complete pedal assemblies, and the complete engines were different if look at the specs at dodge.com

Po605 and po700

p0700 is a generic trans. code, so the problem if it is in the trans. would require further trans diag. so i would scan trans specific codes first. but in most cases when a chrysler tells you it is an internal controller fault you can believe it. just make sure which controller it is telling you has a fault!

Transaxle control module

I have a 1993 Caravan with a 4speed trans.. I had to replace the transaxle control module. I paid $50.00 for it at a auto salvage yard and It corrected the problem. My trans would either go into limp mode or act like it was in Neutral.
