Motor & Transaxle Mounts --- may be the issue
If so--- replace them--- all
Put your foot on the brake & put into fwd & rev, while
someone looks under the hood at the motor movement
Have them off to the side & torque the motor some against
the brake
Also check cv axle joints--- once the mounts are taken care of

it might be the start up gear or the transmission or engine might need to check the oil. i think that the transmission needs replacing.

I think its you alternator, the battery and alternator kind of work back to back with each other. I will take the car to shop that you know and can trust and have them diagnose the car all together. Good Luck.

Hi, I had the same problem, the car kept accelrating and the RPM needle kept jumping, I turned off the cruise control and I had no problem after that. I do however have problems with my cruise control as I do other electrical issues. Anyhow, I believe this would fix your problem. Please let me know what happens:)

Your transmission is "downshifting" which is a normal function...However if it's happening early, the throttle cable may be out of adjustment. This does not happen in 3rd gear because that's how the system is designed. Downshifting is a 4 (od) to 3rd gear shift...if already in 3rd, this won't happen. As long as trans shifts normally on flat ground with no slipping or delayed shifts, just service it regularly and it should be fine.
