you need to remove the hubs there is a couple snap rings one in the center and one around the out side then you can get to the wheel bearing lock rings remove the rotor and drive the stud out and replace them i would do all of the a they are now weak
Check your wheel berrings by jacking up the frount of the car up until the wheels are off of the ground and then see if the tire wiggles around if it does the berring is shot if the tire is solid then the berring should be fine
I would remove and clean the internal parts. They tend to get filled with all kinds of road debry from age and will hang up inside till cleaned and regreased
Hi there. If by gears you mean the splines on the end of the half shaft, you need to seperate the lower ball joint, if not done already, put the splines in the hub first and then hook the new bearing hub up to the lower control(ball joint) with the shaft already in place.
