Horn works sometimes on stearing wheel and keyost on my 2003 suburban 1500LT then sometimes it doesn't

keyost?

bad ground to horn
bad relAY TO HORn
bad wires to all horn circuits
bad horn button.
bad clockspring contacts in steering hub.

no matter way we use a voltmeter to solve this, riddle in 5min work.

i always start in the middle (training) to make 1/2 the possible go byebye in 1 simple test.
ask.
if the relay dont pull in at failure, bingo. 1/2 problem solved.
is this clear?
that would say the relay is bad, or power to it lost
or the horn button path is dead.
causing 2 more simple tests.
ask. if you own a $10 meter... volt meter. of any kind ever made.

My 1995 toyota camry horn works sometimes

Most horn sytems on vehicles have power to the horn, and the horn
button simply completes the circuit to earth.
Check to make sure the earth lead bolted to the front panel is clean and tight, check also that there isn't a horn relay under the fuse box cover, it may be faulty.
You will need to make sure that at least one of the wires to the horn has 12 volts going to it, if not, the fuse may have blown.
Hope this helps.

Horn not working on sprinter van

I have the same fault in my 313CDI.
By pushing the alarm button the horn works.
Sometimes the horn worked intermittently so I suspect the wiring/ contacts on the steering wheel?

The horn for my 1995 Subaru Legacy AWD will not work. I checked fuse and it is good. I just hear a clicking noise when I depress horn switch. Can you advise to how I can fix?

okay, the clicking noise is the horn relay which tells me the horn pad and the relay are working so the only thing left is the horns, look to make sure the horns are connected and if they are then i would say you have bad horns, the horns are a little hard to find sometimes, they are located in the front sometimes behind front bumper or on the inside of the front fender area. good day.

2005 Kia Sorento horns are sometimes weak...sometimes dont work at all. Is this a problem with the horns, or something else?

sounds like horn itself is bad or multiple horns where one tone works intermitently i would replace horns.

My horn does not work

Hold down the horn button and turn the wheel, if this works sometimes it is the earth connection on the wheel and will need to pull steering wheel off. next, put a test light or multi meter on the two wires connected to the horn, if it lights when horn button pressed, you need a new horn, available at auto shops, sometimes a light tap on the horn with a hammer while the button is pressed can help, but probably need a new horn

Horn isnt working and all relays are ok

Sometimes the horns get stuck. You migh be able to tap on the horn with a metalic tool (screwdriver or pliers) to get it working. I would check voltage to the horn wire. It should have voltage while the horn button is pressed.
