I took the car to the tire shop and it was running fine, when they pulled it to the door after they were done., it was sputtering ad when i tried to rev the engine it died. thought it was fue shut off so founf the switch and it was pushed in, has gas just tries to sart and won't catch

Did you check fuel pressure at the motor?

Try jumping the relay to get pump on?

Read a wiring diagram-- so you know what your doing?

Check Power & Grounds to pump when the tank was down?

You need a repair shop or dealer, that has a data
base & the procedure to follow to reset things, after
the air bag went off

Sort of sounds like the timing belt broke-- if you have one

The valves may have hit the pistons & that is why it won't turn over

I don't know any of that is true & won't wish it on anyone,but

Hello. My 1997 Chevy Tahoe refuses to start. The problems began with a bad fuel pump. I changed. It worked. The fuel pump died again. I changed it again and it has been working. I parked it for two weeks....

Now you have a good battery & a starter that turns over the motor

Have you cycled the key on & off with a fuel pressure gauge on the
fuel rail?

Do you have a fuel filter that isn't over 3 or 4 years old?

Have you checked for spark while cranking ? Use an old plug on the wires,
if you have ignition wires,don't ground the wire without resistance

If you removed the ducting & MAF Sensor it won't start

Tell us what you checked & exactly how that was done.
