Changing alternator 2007 dodge nitro

I looked at info for the 3.7L engine, looks fairly straight forward. Take negative battery cable loose and isolate. Remove generator belt. Remove electrical connector from generator. Remove bolts from generator. Remove generator.
If your going to work on your own vehicle, you need a basic set of tools, wrenches and sockets, standard and metric sizes. I don't know the actual socket or wrench size.

What size hex socket to change 2002 dodge stratus front brakes

If your going to work on your own vehicles, you need a basic set of wrenches and sockets, standard and metric. Then, if you need a specialty socket or a socket you don't have fine.

My automotive databases won't give the socket size. If I grab a socket from my tool box and it is too big, I grab a smaller size socket, go from there. I'll look around, see if I can find the proper size?

What size socket 4caliber bolts on 97f150 4x4 4.2engine

Even Ford uses metric sockets for some bolts. I start with both metric and standard sockets then use the smallest tightest one that fits on without being forced on with a hammer. I have had better luck breaking the bolts loose with 1/2" drive sockets and a flex handle breaker bar then use the rachet after the bolt is loose.

Replace front turn signal bulb

If you are changing the bulb on the driver’s side, start the engine, turn the steering wheel all the way to the right, and turn off the engine. If you are changing the bulb on the passenger’s side, turn the steering wheel to the left.
Use a flat-tipped screwdriver to remove the holding clip from the inner fender, and pull the inner fender cover back.
Remove the socket from the headlight assembly by turning it one-quarter turn counterclockwise.
Remove the bulb from the socket by pushing it in and turning the bulb counterclockwise until it unlocks.
Insert the socket back into the headlight assembly. Turn it clockwise to lock it in place.
Test the lights to make sure the new bulb is working.
Put the inner fender cover in place.
Install the holding clip. Lock it in place by pushing on the center.

Hope this helps you.

Honda CR-V 1999: how to access front park lamp to change

Don't call me Surely (little joke there) but indeed, the fender/mud guard have to be dealt with. Here's the procedure:
1. If you are changing the bulb on the driver's side, start the engine, turn the steering wheel all the way to the right, and turn off the engine. If you are changing the bulb on the passenger's side, turn the steering wheel to the left.
2. Use a flat-tip screwdriver to remove the fastener from the inner fender.
3. Pull the inner fender cover back.
4. Remove the socket from the headlight assembly by turning it one-quarter turn counterclockwise.
5. To remove the turn signal/side marker bulb, push it in slightly and turn it counterclockwise. To remove the parking light bulb, pull it straight out of its socket.
6. Install the new bulb in the socket.
7. Insert the socket back into the headlight assembly. Turn it clockwise to lock it in place.
8. Test the lights to make sure the new bulb is working.
9. Put the inner fender cover in place. Install the fastener and push on the center until it locks (the center is flush with the head).
Hope this helps you deal with it.
