1997–00 Mirage engine compartment fuse location chart
The turn signal and hazard flasher unit is located in the interior fuse panel located under the driver's left side knee protector. They are replaced by simply pulling them straight out. Note that the prongs are arranged in such a way that the flasher must be properly oriented before attempting to install it. Turn the flasher until the orientation of the prongs is correct and simply push it firmly in until the prongs are fully engaged
I have a 2000 Mitsibishi Mirage and my right turn signal will not turn off. What could possibly ne the problem?
My tail lights and and speedometer/fuel gauge lights do not work. Could it be the fuses or something else ....... Thanks for any insights ...

SOURCE: flasher fuse repalcement location?
hey, I have a 95 Chevrolet Truck. I'm not sure how close to the same they are but I couldn't find mine either. I had to listen for it clicking until i finally found it.. it was pretty much in the middle of the dash at the bottom... but behind the dash panel of course and up in a crack. It had some insulation kind of rapped around it.. I had to squeeze my hand in there to pop it off. so if it's the same as mine duck under but look more torward the middle of everything..

its not a fuse its the flasher relay they are located under the main fuse holder under the hood on the driver side they are square there should be three one for the fuel pump one for the electrical panels and lights and horn and the other is the one for the flashers your better off replacing them all since electrical parts are mostly the same age replacing one may fix that problem now but happens when one of the others goes out and your in the middle of no where in the middle of the night since your going to be replacing one its better to replace them all to save a head ache for later just the same as any car part like the radiator hoses if one is worn and leaking then the other maybe the same but has not formed a hole yet its always better to think ahead then to think about what is going on at the time of the problem just something to think about
Testimonial: "Thank you very much, but there is no fuse box under the bonnet. I have worked on a few mercs years ago so i do agree there should be a fuse box there"
The turn signal flasher is located in the IPJB. Check the label on the back of the trim panel for the exact location on your vehicle.
To replace the flasher, simply grasp and pull it straight out. Align the contacts on the replacement flasher with its mounting position in the IPJB, then push it in place.
Instrument Panel Junction Block (IPJB)
It is located under the dash board on the drivers side. You will need a flash light, zip cord for re-installation, a long non metallic rod 1/4" dia and a wire hanger. Bend hanger straight and make a little hook on end. Remove turn signal fuse located at fuse box under driver side dash. Lay on floor with flashlight on drivers side. Look above fuse box it is located above it about 10" it is round and silver. Use rod to push off clamp. Now use hanger to retrieve flasher unclasp and install new flasher. Reinstall flasher and clip under dash with zip cord for access later. Replace fuse. If you need further assistance please let me know. Thanks, midwest-tek
