Power door locks not working on my 2005 crossfire

Could have a lose or broken wires last thing getting old.

This may be because your car is currently locked. You need to unlock your car door in order to shut the fuel door.

Make sure you push the unlock button on the console before trying to open the gas tank door. Also you cannot just open the door you have to press on it when it's unlocked and the door will open.

The Crossfire should have electric door locks. Each door will have an electric solenoid attached to the rod that runs behind the door panel. That rod activates the locks. If the locks quit working, try removing the grounding wire where it attaches to the door frame. Clean the wire, the screw, and the hole the screw goes into, then screw it back in and try the locks again. Lock problems are often caused by bad grounding connections, and it would save you a lot of cash if you didn't have to buy a new solenoid.

do u mean to say, it does not work on any of the door except the rear tailgate?
if yes, then check the driver door lock actuator , common problem.

open door. when alarm goes off put key in ignition and turn it on start car. this should disarm the factory alarm.

u are doing nothing wrong there is a mechanical problem wit the lock cylinder, have the dealer fix it.

i work at a chevy dealership,just had the same problem my fix was to replace the power door lock relay located on drivers side interior fuse block
