SOURCE: water in floor on passenger side

The issue is condensation from your air conditioner not properly draining. This is usually caused by a damaged, or clogged drain hose. The condensation is supposed to drain outside the vehicle by way of a hose on the firewall area.

SOURCE: 1998 jeep grans cherokee leaking water in the

Hi Vichall,

The first step is to locate the leak and identify the source.

Pull the rug back. Dry the area. This will help locate new moisture.

  • Is the water clear? Does it smell sweet?
  • Does it only leak with the engine running? After Turned off? All the time?
  • Does it only leak with the heater on? A/C on?
  • Is your coolant level down?
  • Is their a time of day it happens more? (Early morning)
Comment back with your findings. We can take it from there

Best regards
Mike

SOURCE: have a benz 01 ml320, with leaking sunroof drain on

Open up the sunroof and try to unclog the drainage. You will see this from the inside of the ML by opening the whole sunroof and stickin your hear thru. On the drivers side you will see a drainage whole similar to the passenger side. Mine did the same thing and unclogged it with a straw. [email protected]

2009 cx-7 has oil leak but oil is full??drives fine no smell has 113,000 mile on it and never a problem

Have the engine cleaned top and bottom with a pressure washer and once that is done drive the car about 10 miles return to the shop and check for the oil leak source, common placed for leaks are valve covers, rear main seals and the oil pressure sensor. It is best that you have access to a car lift.

Buick lucerne 2008, the trunk light won't come on. I've checked the globe, it's good, not sure where the fuse is but there is no power to the globe. Where's the switch and which fuse do I check?

Rear Compartment Lamp
The BCM supplies battery positive voltage from the INT LAMPS fuse at all times through the inadvertent power courtesy lamps circuit to the rear compartment lamp. When the rear compartment is opened, the rear compartment lamp switch closes to ground and the lamp illuminates.

Water In My Trunk

Hi Gregory:
2 issues:
1) water getting in
2)Water not getting out.

1) Water is not supposed to get in so you need to track down the leak. Check rubber around trunk lid, rear window seal.
2) Trunk is not intended to contain water, even on a temporary basis, so drain holes are not normally installed.

Fix the leak and you won't need to have drain holes.

How do I replace the water pump on a 2006 buick lucerne cx 3.8 v6

first take hose off, or drain from drain plug. antifreeze is what you are draining. Then get a 15 mm rachett and socket and pry tension pully back so you can remove belt. unbolt water pump and take off. Once off clean engine block with razor blade,or something to get old gasket off. put a thin layer of rtv blue permatex on new water pump. Now put new gasket on new water pump on top of the permatex . let dry and set up, this will keep the gasket from moving around when putting back on. follow the process backwards and should b 30 min job . GOOD LUCK YOU CAN DO THIS FOR SURE. ONE OF THE EASIER ONES.........................
