Hi, I have a 1997 Mitsubishi Mirage. It will crank and idle but at take off it acts like the gas peddle doesn't exist. After the motor rolls along to get the motor up some rpm's it will take the gas fine until you stop and then it repeats the same thing. So far I have replaced the fuel pump, filter and strainer also the distributor,distributor cap and rotary botton. The alternator, the computer, the fuel relay switch, and the throttle position sensor. Has anyone ever had this problem or have a clue what this could be?
Check you air filter and hook up a scan tool to see if you have a active code. Even if the check engine lamp is not on hook it to scan tool?

I changed the air filter and it is not showing any code. It was showing code 1500. That is when I replaced the computer and alternator. I found a bad plug on the back side of alternator and replaced it. Now it isn't showing any code at all
