Why is it you guys are not letting us know your names lately? I do not really know what you mean by 'chuggs.' If you need help we need information. Regards John
I worked on a Z24 model that drove me crazy - turned out to be a cracked intake manifold. Something to consider, especially if it only screws up while hot.
Yes its very possible that the IAC valve is bad. Here is something you can try.Take the connector off of the IAC if this remedies the situation then replace the IAC.If the idle is surging then I would look at the throttle position sensor. And also remember that if a sensor was bad you would get a check engine light that should come on.You might also have a vacuum hose that came off.
for the water pump leaking, get some engine coolant stop leak from any automotive store, it usually contains pump seal lubricant also. the power surges are a separate problem from your pump leak.
Did it just quit, or there a chugging to it ?
Your problem my be with the ignition module,or the fuel pump.
No chugg,,,, probably module
chugg,,,,,,,,,,probably fuel pump.
Have it checked by a mechanic to ensure and to save you money.
