I have a 1994 toyota tercel with a complete re built motor from bottom to top. With only 6,000 miles on the re built motor. With regular oil change. New battery , slightly used alternator, new belt, spark plugs , distributor cap and rotor . . New wires, thermostat , water pump. And a bunch more. I just finished the alternator and belt with new battery on Monday. But now the brake light and battery light are flashing on and off. I went to get a charging connector test done, they said the starter was starting to go. Is there any thing else I should look into. Check engine light once in a while. But the evap code was by passed. And did the diagnostic on the engine to come up with. Fuel filter is running rich and may need to replace the O2 sensor. Here is what I know and have done to my car. If any one could please help me understand why my battery light and brake light are flashing? ? Please and thank you.

Sounds like the shop that did the may have bumped something and forgot to plug something in. you can go back to them ,and have them check or just have another look at it then take it back

SOURCE: 1992 Chrysler LeBaron 3.0 L.

the owner probably rerouted the fuel line because like my 92 chrysler lebaron v6 3.0 the fuel lines keep seeming to come off and the clamps always break. I have replaced the clamps 5 times in a month and replaced filters 2 times in 2 months. The only thing i could think of is that your fuel is being cut off possibly because there is no filter to clean all the junk out. Try putting a fuel filter on and see if that will work

SOURCE: finding truoble codes for 1994 suzuki sidekick

if you live in the states... just go to an autozone... they will scan the codes for free. you may also be able to retrieve the codes by turning the key off and on 3 times and counting the amount of times the check engine light flashes. almost like morse code... when you reach code 55 that's the end of the codes. this does not always work.

SOURCE: went to PEP Boys they ran a diagnostic test and

My experince with PEP Boys is they do not honor their warrenties. But I would go back and complain about the car running hot since the only part of the cooling system they didn't change was the radiator they did something wrong. It should not be running hot. Is the cooling fan running? If not they probably didn't reconnect the wires to it or broke a wire. They also conned you on the water pump, you have to take out the distibutor to get to the water pump not the other way around.

What should be done for the regular maintenance/service of my jeep liberty 2006 @ 5,000 and/or is it 6,000 miles.thanks!

With the quality of oils available today I would think that 6,000 Miles is an appropriate interval for normal use. If you are doing towing etc a shorter interval would not hurt it. There is nothing like good clean oil and filter change to prolong the life of an engine.

Oil type for '94 Tercel

Hello Seth.
If the temperature you are running until your next oil change is due will be below 50F average they recommend 5w30.
Otherwise 10w 30 is the choice.

I have a 1994 toyota tercel with a 1995 motor do I tell if its a 2E or not

If you have a '95 motor it should be a 5E-FE. The Tercels from '91-'94 had the oil burning no good 3EE. You can tell quickly if your engine has 16 valves.

Where is the transmission fill on the manual transmission of a 1994 Toyota Tercel 4wd station wagon?

Check both sides of the gearbox for a plug (screw) simular to the drain plug on the bottom. This is a level screw remove it then on the bottle of trans. oil their should be a lid with a pipe on it put the pipe in the hole and squeze the bottle until the oil comes out of the hole in the gearbox.
