1999 Yukon Start Issue - I have replaced the octopuse, battery, fuel filter, fuel pump, still having problems starting in cold weather, sometimes after a heavy rain.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

The knock sensor is a major pain in the a..s to change I would suggest taking it to a reputable shop for a second opinion to see if they realy performed the work. Also with OBD11 (2) diagnostics if you have multiple misfires its not the wires its something else, also if you got a code for a misfire it would be specific as to which cylinder is misfiring. My best guess would be to get your coil checked.

You have to take the entire intake manifold off upper and lower. you will find it on the main block after you take the lower manifold off.

The regulator is in the fuel tank. You must drop the tank to get to the system It is part of the fuel pump/fuel pressure regulator/fuel level sending unit. If just changing the regulator which you can, make sure you install new o-rings, put a little clean gas on them to install. Cheaper than a new fuel pump.

V6 3.3L The sensor is located underneath the air intake manifold on top
of the engine block. This should take an experienced mechanic about 3-4
hours to replace.
