Have to keep jumping my suburban so am replacing battery. Any tips on how to replace it? Seems like it could be involved, but don't want to spend the money at a dealer.

It will take a few miles of driving for the ECM to catch up to the new throttle body. Assuming it was an OEM replacement, its cleaner than the old one, so the air flow is different. 20 minutes of driving should do the trick...if it doesn't then you have a different problem.

The body control module is the problem it is drawing the battery voltage down, and causing the lighting malfunction

CHECK ALTERNATOR OUT PUT VOLTAGE COULD BE OVER 15 VOLTS OR YOU ARE TOUCHING HALOGEN BULBS WITH YOUR HANDS THE OILS FROM YOUR HANDS OR FINGERS WILL CAUSE HALOGEN BULBS TO OVERHEAT AND BLOW.
Hi Bob, Joe got in first, because that would have been my advise exactly! Find the power feed to the amp and then do what Joe advised. (Of course the choice of where you fit the switch is yours, you don't have to have it by your seat but it makes sense if you're driving alone) Regards John
