It starts best in cold weather...hard start at first, approx. 2-3 tries...when started, drives well for about 5-7 minutes then dies wherever it's at. kind of like a dead battery. i've driven it for about 45 minutes once...ran fine then wouldn't start again. it will drive when it wants...i put in a new fuel filter, thermostat, drained the radiator, full tune up, oil change the whole nine yards... what can be wrong??? did a diagnostic on it and it gave me the code 34. i looked it up and it said that it was the speed control solenoid circuits: haynes auto manual meaning: an open or shorted condition detected in the speed control vaccum or vent solenoid circuits... where do i find this?
The solenoid should be adjacent to the air intake system and will ressemble the part linked:

There's probably a group of solenoids around the engine bay somewhere, and these are part of it. I believe the speed control vacuum solenoid is for the cruise control system, and the vent solenoid I think would be for the evaporative emissions system-what keeps your gas vapors from the tank escaping to air- but traps them in a charcoal canister full of charcoal. The canister is probably under the hood too. Those solenoids act as on-off switches for controlling vacuum to other parts. You need to look at the wiring for them is what the code is saying.
The code may or may not be related to your hard starting or no start conditions. Sounds pretty bad. Check for a major air or vacuum leak around the vacuum lines and the intake manifold.
After that, probably back to basics-gas or spark may be giving you a problem. Monitor the fuel pressure, engine off and engine running. Check for a strong blue spark on all cylinders.

Sounds like a fuel issue. If it only does it when it's cold try putting some heet in your tank?

I don't know how the above could have any effect on temperature. Is the vehicle full of coolant? In my opinion you have two different issues
SOURCE: dies while driving will usually start again but 3
Sounds like wireing... Check your grounds and positive at your starter.. Start there good luck
SOURCE: Filled up with fuel drove about 10 miles and it
draw a small amount of fuel about 1 quart in sutable container and let sit then check for water. It will seperate in the sutable container
