You sound lost, so I recommend a guy you trust to do the job! Thats a nice car. You may need an anti freeze change and worn hoses, even flush out the heater core while it's getting it winterized! $120 for labor plus parts. Not an easy job!
First off if you are not a mechanic please dont try to fix this problem if you try your self you may cause many problems that would eventually lead to having to replace head gaskets and such.... on the other hand if you are a mechanic let me know and ill give you a brief explanation

check the alternator fuse that can be a fuse link by the battery pole,check alternator voltage on the alternator red wire or connector,it should the same as on the battery ,check ground wires for loose intermitent contact

I am assuming this is while you are driving the vehicle? The light should come on and turn off at start up, as the ABS computer runs a self check. If the issue presents itself while driving, it is likely a wheel speed sensor that is starting to fail. If the computer looses the signal it will turn on the dash light, when it sees a signal again it will turn the light off. Could be a broken wire between the chassis and wheel speed sensor or a bad sensor. If you can, check the ABS codes, they should be stored.
