run the fault codes with a scanner to determine where the faulty sensor is

Actually you may be losing slight power, but just can't tell. Try going to Autozone and having a FREE diagnostic done.

sounds to me that you may have a plugged catalytic converter. try disconnecting the converter and running the engine, also you can check for restricted exhaust coming out tail pipe.

that was throwing a security light for some reason.
i was losing power in the beginning and then one day i was driving and the engine sputtered and died. come to find out it was the fuel pump telar that had gone bad. the secirity light went off after rrplacment. drove great aftrr. there is also you can do with turning the key to acc for like 15 min. idk look it up

The trac light probably came on because the engine light came on.
You would need to get the computer scanned for trouble codes, and find out if you are missing spark to the plugs or fuel to the injectors to proceed with testing.

the trac shuts off when theres a check engine light or a abs light on, most likely theres a bad abs wheel sensor but you will have to have the abs computer scaned to find out which one it is. hope this helps.

There are wheel speed sensors that are located in each hub. These sensors are usually responsible for the ABS/trac off/low trac lights coming on. There are couple of things that could cause one or all of these sensors to activate the "Trac Off" light. Such as a bad sensor or an issue with the hub bearings.

However the most common cause of this is a problem with the wiring. Since the sensors are subject to the elements they tend to fail due to corrosion.
In fact this is an on going issue with 2000 - 2005 Grand Am's and Grand Prix's.
If you have mechanical ability you should inspect the connections and sensor. Clean the and use some Die-electric spray on the connections. Then disconnect the battery for at least 15 minutes to reset everything and wait to see if it returns. If it does you might want to go to a mechanic because this can also effect the ABS system.

Have the systems scanned for trouble codes with a scan tool.The ABS and Trac lights are on because there are fault codes stored.Access the fault codes,and they give you a direction that needs repaired.You likely have a wheel speed sensor damaged or just not working.Repair the speed sensor,clear the codes,all systems go.
