the plug in the back of the alt voltage reg plug that is melt some times up plug it and check the plug it self may help you out and all so i remember the plug in the the back of the key ign, gets bernt up and melts also check them and see you may find one of the 2 help you out
immobilsor has come on so only course of action is to call a specialist auto locksmith or the dealer to release the immobilisor ,have you lost the chip out of the key?? have a look and try the spare key
The car could probably use a tune-up. Also, check both ends of the PCV line for soft/deteriorated elbows as a vacuum leak here would cause the car to die at idle.
Check to make sure your getting spark. Next make sure your fuel pump is turning on when the key is turned on. You should hear it run for a couple seconds when the key is turned on.
Assuming you mean key, is it OEM Ford or aftermarket? Do you know the brand if aftermarket? Do you know the lock number? Replacement keys can be ordered from the aftermarket manufacture. Ford's locks are make by an aftermarket manufacture, but the might use different part numbers. If OEM, bring it to the dealer for match up if possible.
