When doors are open dome light does not turn on

The dome light does work and it turns on when the liftback is open. I have a 90 Celica GT

    I was wondering what worked...  i have a 90 gt-s liftback and when the trunk is open the dome is on and only sometimes does the dome light go on when passenger door is open but never the driver side   im wondering if i should just replace the pins or what?

There are levers or switches inside the door jambs which are more than likely sticking.........try moving the levers and if this works shoot some lubrication on them and move them around a bit.

Door pin switches frozen by ice or rust. Remove and replace. Also check there is not a 3 way switch at the dome light that keeps the light off when doors open.

If you can manually activate the interior Dome light. Then you probably have a faulty door jam switch.

Sometimes the dome lite is turned on manually by rotating the headlamp switch knob, try turning it off with the knob. Best time to check for light left on, is in the dark.
Hopefully pulling the dome lite fuse will stop the battery drain.

How do you drain the radiator?
There should be a Small Drain plug at the Very Bottom of the Radiator that looks like a Wing nut. Turn this Slowly as it can Break easily!
