My 2002 Isuzu Roadeo is throwing a code of P0157 but is pulsating like it isn't getting the oxygen. P0157 is a Bank 2 O2 Sensor but with it pulsing would it be a plugged cat?
The easiest way to see if a cat is working is to measure the exhaust temp before and after the cat. If the cat is working the after temp will be less than before. We use an inferred heat gun.
Not sure what you mean by pulsating. If your truck is a V-6 you might be able to switch the bank 2 sensor with the bank 1 to help diagnose.

Yes sorry but they both should be replaced.

Tune it up and replace the 02 sensor that keeps setting the codes bank 2 sensor 1. Have your oil and filter changed right before you go for a retest to. That will clear up 3 codes P0300, 0155 and 0154. You might have to replace the fuel sending unit to get rid of P0463 but if the gauge works OK I'd leave it alone.

Bank2 sensor 1 is the driver side top or precat sensor.
The code is for the heater circuit of the sensor

Your SUV is really giving you a hard time, lol. Sorry but I've had those days too.
I would try to check if you have blocked EGR passages. If ok check for restricted MAP sensor vacuum hose/passage or restricted exhaust. I know you replaced the CAT but if the muffler is blocked then there would still be a restriction. Also check the wiring and connection to the MAP sensor.

common causes for back firing, low fuel pressure, or restricted injectors, breakdown of secondary ignition coil, internal ignition coil arching, or a dead spot in throttle position sensor.
