Other than the loss of power on hills and no turbo it goes well, not using any oil, always starting straight off. Blow abit of smoke on start up but has been really reliable. Had regular oil changes
There is really nothing for the home mechanic to check, you need special tools and training.

not all hdi injectors are the same and there are some tricks to replacing the injectors so be careful as you can cause saver damage to your engine if not done correctly.
as the other gye said it may be a turbo pipe but Peugeots being Peugeot it could be any thing your best bet is take it into a dealer and get them to put it on the PPS to diagnos it properly

This may sound odd but my saturn with 225k does not push blue smoke with the A/C on.... When A/C is off it will start to pushing blue smoke... Any guess out there>>>>
