1995 chevy s-10- 4x4 doesnt work

change the bulb if still out then check and test socket/ground wiring/wire harness for damage

I'm not so sure that the bell housings are the same. I know that the older ones were different. I would recommend calling A GMC dealer and ask someone in there service department your questions and a good dealer should gladly answer your questions.

IM SORRY BUT I DON;T UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE TRYING TO SAY YOU DID THE VACUUM BOSTER CONTROL UNIT WHAT SWITCH DOSEN;T WORK AND WHAT LIGHT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT

sounds like the immobilisor to me ,but it as i have never worked on this type of vehicle iam blind so to speak ,but have you changed the ignition module which iam sure a vehicle of this age will have ,either in the distributor or under the coil ,and if that doesnt work then change the pick up crank sensor wherever it is on this vehicle

sound's like u have a ground off somwhere in the back under the trunk, remove the spair tire to gain better acess to the wireing

had the same problem w/ my 1995 honda civic lx. there is no speedometer cable in this vehicle. there is a speed controll sensor, if ur facing the front of the vehicle it is located on the left side just beyond the distributor cap/ below . its held by two screws. price range was about 75 to 125 ? i got my off a friends honda that no longer was running. bam! fixed

my 95 Chevy Lumina Seems to have tjis Similar Problem Especially after Driving in 6+ Inches Of Snow. I have Found that I use a Lot Of Trannie Fluid Check it. That Usually will get my speedo working right again, and Make my car Shift Accordingly
