The passengers side tire will not come off despite removing the lug nuts and numerous hammering sessions with a rubber mallet. Are we missing something?
Use 3lb sledge on inner edge of rim be careful not to damage rim rubber mallet won't provide enough shock to loosen rust. ps leave one lug nut on so tire won't fly off.
Leave all five nuts on the last three turns let the jack down the weight of car will loosen the rim if no success with first answer
There's a trick to freeing a stuck-on wheel that almost never fails. You already have the lugs removed, but now reinstall them leaving about 5 turns before they start to get snug. Now lower the car to the ground, get in and start it up. Drive back and forth 4 or 5 feet a few times. Now jack the car up and test the wheel. It should be nice and loose now, ready for you to replace with your spare so you can move on down the road.

I can't get lug nut to come off. I have tried a 4 way lug nut bar and cracked the bar at the point where it fits over my lug nut. I've tried wd40 but it isn't able to get in there to loosen the lug because I've got 22" wheels with deep style lug nuts and nothing is exposed like it might be if it was stock wheels. How do I get these stuck lug nuts off. I don't want to crack the stud. Heating it up with a torch would damage/ruin my 22" wheels.
