Car had sat for a month, battery would not charge, installed new battery. Now headlights just flash and car will not start. I need help quick please. Car only has 42,000 miles on it and I am original owner. Cranked just fine last month. Thanks, Jim
The anti-theft system is likely the problem. It needs to be reset.

If your talking about an immobilizer then i would get the red key chain holder to the car it would reset the immobilizer.....or call the dealer sry if i could not fully help you

Hi if its the original stereo then have a look inside the owners hand book have a look inside the back and front cover, it usually comes written on a piece of card but this usually gets lost so people write it inside the covers.
If how ever its not written their then the only place you can get it from is by taking the car and the owners documents to your nearest main dealers and then they will give you the correct code.
Its the only way of getting the code they do it like this to stop thieves stealing the stereo then just getting the code and selling the stereo on so you have to take your car and any documents you have to prove ownership of the car, they will then give you the code.
They wont charge for giving you the code just make sure you write it down in case you ever need it in the future.
