Remove the front seat can give you access to remove the panel. But if it has screws around the outer perimeter, most likely will have to tear it out. Best to find a replacement first. Look at the drivers door, if it has screws, so does the passenger side. There are screws around the arm rest and door handle to remove, then it pops off. Again the seat has to be out of the way.

It's not the handles I've struggled with these issues on 3 altimas it's the door latch itself it's from moisture it's worse in the winter if I run the car for a couple hours with heat on the door opens also if you repeatedly lock and unlock the door with the power lock it will release eventually. it has a factory alarm and probably need to go lock unlock passenger door to reset where the problem started from.. you can try after that door the drivers door

your going to have to get that panel off with out opening the door.
remove screws ffrom door panel and try to pull up from bottom. put the passenger seat all the way back. be careful and take your time it can be done
