If the sensor in the pedal value sensor fails the system, switches over to the second one .The throttle will be limited to 60%. A electronic throttle acuator will be the solution

after taking the car in, the answer was code PO123 accelerator pedal sensor - short circuit, which calls for a replacement of the unit itself that includes the pedal too since it is a single unit...

Hi, You need to replace the alarm siren. It is also a module. It is located in the right front fender well. The reason they go bad is because they are located in a place where they get wet.

SOURCE: I have a 2004 c240 mercedes how do i connect my

Hi,

Bluetooth compatability is available on Merc vehicles which were originally wired with factory handset (Motorola), iPod adaptor cable & wireless Multi-Handset Interface (MHI). Models from 2007 onwards also had an updated interface.

If your vehicle has the MHI, then it would be a simple case of activating the the MHI device to search for your iphone device.

If you are unsure if you have the MHI adaptor, then contact your local Mercedes Parts Dept. for further advice.

Cheers,

When accelerator is pressed down the engine stuters until use ease off the pedel. can only use 1/4 to 1/2 throttle.

The most common problem for this is the fuel filter or dirty spark plugs. If it is the plugs you would have a slight miss when idleing or be able to smell gas fumes from exhaust. Also your gas mileage would go down. The fuel filter will cause the vehicle to feel like it will stall and die when you try to accelerate or raise the rpm's in idle. I hope this helps. If you try both and it does not help try pulling the trouble codes and having them checked.

2001 mercedes c240 has a really rough start but when the car almost dies I turn the car off wait 3 seconds and it starts perfect. Next comes the issue with having to warm it up before driving anywhere...

Gasoline- thank you. Warm up is not an issue like diesel is. Sounds like the choke is is either wide open or over choking. With the engine cold, remove the air cleaner and note where the plate is at the opening of the carb. If it is wide open then without touching anything else and engine not running, step down on the gas pedal and see if the choke plate reset itself to restricter the carb inlet. If it didn't, then take some WD 40 and spray the linkages and the rod ends holdin the choke plate.By hand work the plate and linkage holding the gas open at the carb. Then set the plate to wide open and do the gas pedal thing agan to see if choke sets itself back to restricting the carb intake. If it does, start the engine and as the engine warms upm the choke plate should start opening on its own and you are off and running. Roitine question. Is your air cleaner clean? If the choke plate needs adjusting. get back to me. K? Good luck Remember to press the gas pedal down once before cranking. That sets the choke for cold start. Hope this helped you Good luck Note, the WD40 won't hurt anything but avoid spraying with engine running or when engine is hot..
