Under the hood directly in front of the driver is a covered fuse block. Remove the cover and the fuse is #34.

the fuse panels are behind the radio, you have a shortage,, if you go to autozone it will cost nothing to get it fix

  • Better check the fuse maybe the fuse is busted. But if the fuse is good visit a good electrician to check the wires.

hello there:
Yes there is a fuse for the cigarette lighter should be in the driver compartment down by the brake the cover of the fuse block marked cig.lighter pull it out and check to see if the fuse is blown or not. you will be able to see a brake in between the posts of the fuse if that does not solve the problem. you may have a short in the wiring or it could also be a possible that the lighter may not be any good.

Fuse blown on cigarette lighter Saturn 2001
It sounds like you have a bad charging cable for the GPS or the cable is overloading the cigarette lighter.

The cigarette lighter is designed for less power then a 12v power outlet.

Therefore it is easy to blow the fuse for the cigarette light if you install something that draws too much power.

I used this air pump and plugged it into my cigarette lighter and half way through the pump turned off and now neither of my cigarette lighters work and i checked all the fuses.. what else could it be?
check the wire nut on the back of the lighter houseing it maybe loose or burnt into.
