You probably have a couple of fuse boxes on that car, and one of them is under the hood, and the other, usually, should be next to the driver side door, close to your steering wheel. When you find the boxes, there should be a slot marked Accessories, or Lighter.
is the only thing not working the cigarette lighter? the fuse that operates it is usually the accessories fuse, it normally operates the interior light as well, which fuse box have you checked, there is most likely one under the bonnet & there also may be one under the dash as well, it might well be that the cigarette lighter element is the problem, try another lighter....hope this helps....cheers
check your fuses, if it's a factory stereo they should be separate circuits. however, if it's aftermarket most stereos have a 'memory' that needs constant power, so it gets connected to the cigarette lighter.
you can use a portable battery booster.it has a cable to run power through cigarette lighter.remove cigarette lighter then plug it in.it will boost battery through cigarette lighter.
