SOURCE: 1993 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE LAREDO- TRUCK WONT

OK...I have a 93 outside...one diagram I have shows an ignition module next to coil...but there is none on mine, (4.0 engine)
Two items to check are crank sensor and cam sensor inside distributor. Test procedure can be found in just about any manual including haynes.
You will need a decent volt/ohm meter to do testing. You can also check codes by turning ignition switch on/off three times, leaving it on the third time. Check engine will flash code #'s (ex: one flash, pause two flashes= the number twelve.then followed by a longer pause then another set of flashes etc.)

SOURCE: need to replace fan relay can't find it

Behind your battery, there's a black plastic cover that once removed, you'll be able to see all the relays and fuses. Yes, it's known as your "Power Distribution Center", and your cooling fan "fuse" (which is quite a bit larger than your normal fuses), is fuse number 13 which is a 20 amp yellow fuse. Underneath the cover you removed there's a diagram of all the relays and fuses...just FYI.

Good Luck,

Believe the AC compressor Relay is located on the left side of the Fuse block inside the passenger kick panel. Exact location is in your owners manual.

Fuel pump relay is inside of the Engine Fuse block under the hood on the passenger side. Locations are written inside of the lid.

Wiring harness 1993 jeep cherokee headlights

Melted wires indicate a heavy load or a short circuit.
If you're having no other issues and the headlights work, it'll most likely just be a heavy load.
Speculation here, but being a Jeep it may very well be running the full headlight circuit load through the switch instead of utilising a relay system to reduce switch load.
Incorporating a couple of relays may solve your underlying issue.
To fix the contact issue you currently have with the wire, you may need to replace the plug. It depends what's actually wrong with the wire and connector it's attached to. Sandpaper, a file or an Emery board can improve electrical contact on the plug surface, but if the problem is the wire, it may need to be soldered or shortened, or the plug replaced.

LHD vs RHD parts:
Most LHD switchgear will fit a RHD model of the same car. It's mainly mechanical items and trim that differentiate a RHD and LHD car.
So if you know what you're ordering, there's no reason you can't buy the LHD part.
The headlight switch and plug are good examples of this.

My tail lights won't work on my 1993 Cherokee sport jeep how do I get them working?

i would 1st check the fuses, a lot of these models have their fuse box under the hood on the drivers side, remove the cover and you will be able to see the fuses and relays.

I have a 1993 jeep Cherokee country that all the lights work but at night my brake lights are non-responsive in the day time they are fine but as soon as i turn my headlights on the brake lights stop...

It sounds like a a bad relay. See if there is a separate relay for the taillight/stoplights and swap it with another relay to see if there is any change.

1996 Jeep Cherokee Sport. My low beams will flash on and off along with the dash lights after a few minutes of driving. I am now forced to drive with my high beams on.

Sounds like a relay may need to be replaced. Check all of your fuses. Check the relays. I believe the Jeep has a relay for the headlights I could be mistaken. It would be my guess. But also, how long since you replaced the bulbs. A friend of mine had hers flicker when it was a "friendly reminder" to replace. But when you change something, it's always smart to replace the fuse that goes with it.

Best of Luck

Need location of fan relay

The relay location depends on what style cherokee you have. Grand cherokee's are located behind thepassenger side headlight which involves removing the bumper cover and grill.
On the older style cherokee such as the sport there located in the engine compartment fuse panel.
