Hello, my name is johnatan and i will be helping you to day.

Q.
you have a nissan pathfinder 2001 and when i start up the car early in the morning the rpm goin up and down

A.
When you start your car check you oil preacher gage and see if it is jumping if it dose check you oil dipstick it mite be low on oil or time for a oil chang.
If you car is not low on oil or your oil is not thick and creamy or watery then thar is a good possibility that you oil pump is on it's way out

Pathfinder 2001 could not pass 3000 rpm

I had that same issue with my 2004 Pathfinder and it was the fuel filter. (Was supposed to have been replace during a service, but obviously wasn't when I changed it)

1989 pathfinder transmission 3spd w/ overdrive works great when first started, then downshifting starts way early, started after alternater wentbad

Do you mean upshifting starts way early? Going from 2nd to 3rd in other words?
Ireally don't know your transmission, but the alternator problem might've possibly spiked and hurt your shifting solenoids in the ******. don-ohio (:^)

My 2001 ti pathfinder v6 ,has bad fuel consumption,it only gets about 560 k to the tank ,what is normal .and can i do anything .

If you are getting at least 17 mpg in the city, and 20 on the highway, then you are doing good. The Pathfinder is not known for its fuel economy. I own a Pathfinder and if I can keep the RPM's under 2k then my mileage increases.

I have a 1994 nissan pathfinder...there is a high pitched squeal coming from the engine, what might this be? sounds maybe like a bearing, but not sure what bearing, or even where these bearings are...

Hi,
That squeal could be just the belts, when starting at cold belts tendency is to slip and made some sounds. Check on that in early morning and start your engine and look at your engine to identify the sounds.
The bearing would be in the idler bearing that tightens belt of your aircon compressor.
Hope that helps you out!
Thanks for using Fixya!

When its hot outside all the speakers in my 2002 nissan pathfinder work great, but when it cools the slightest bit the front passenger speaker and rear drivers speaker stop working. can you help me with...

Hi I am Vortash it sounds like when they expand in the heat the activator coils are clear of the magnets giving a good sound .. but when cold they contract touching the magnets and you get poor vibrating sound ,, ? the problem may be two fold .. spaekers not man enough to take ower from unit .. especially if you have replaced the unit as most cars are only fitted with 10watt 8ohm to 4 ohm speakers as standard , and some of the newer cd players start at 25 watts this will disstort the speakers and they need replacing .. if this is not the case and you only have a low powered system usual culprit is water seeping down windows onto speakers at night from damp or early morning dew .. wet speakers tend to disstort.. hope this helps regards vortash
