If not the fuse, inspect all around to see if there is any shorts and or try dome wd-40 on the plug to ensure good contact is made at the receptacle.

How to fix a directional light on a 2007 saturn vue

You need to change the bulb...if one side still works turn it
on to see if it is a top or bottom bulb....look for the screws
to remove the cover....(buy a bulb before you get to this
point)...put in the new bulb and screw the cover back on.

My head light on my 1998 Chevy malibu went out but when I replace the bulb it still wont work

When you replaced bulb, all wiring and bulb connector looked good,no corrusion, wires not burned or strayed. With dim lights, means just a little power going to light bulb.Did you check the fuse in fuse box, could be a loose connectoion, check both fuses, left and right headlight.swap them out and see,if fuses are good then,it may be the headlight switch, which cost the most. Here's a link on how to replace. Here's the part.

How to change head light lamp on a Saturn S-Series SC2

Hello,
Purchase the replacement light you need from an auto parts store. Give them the year and particular Saturn S Series model number to acquire the right part. Also indicate whether you need the high or low beam light bulb, as some S Series models require separate bulbs.
  • Turn off the engine. Pop the hood and secure it open. Disconnect the battery cables from the battery by grasping the cable and pulling it straight off of the positive and negative battery terminals.

  • Position yourself in front of the headlight you wish to repair. Look behind the headlight assembly to find the wiring harness for the headlight assembly. Lift the locking tab, grab the wiring harness and pull the wiring directly away from the assembly.

  • Grab the old headlight bulb, twist it counterclockwise and pull it out of the headlight assembly. Replace it with a new bulb and secure it by turning it clockwise.

  • Reconnect the wiring harness to the headlight assembly and reconnect the battery cables. Test the lights to see if they work properly.

  • Thanks

    Changing drivers side headlight bulb

these half turn plug into the back of the head light assemblies. you get access by opening the hood. don't touch the glass part of the new bulbs. make absolutely sure you are putting the right bulb in the right socket. there are two types of bulb which fit mechanically, but not electrically, into the same type of socket.

saturs have always had problems with the taillights not working or signals not working also, the way i was told to fix the problem is to change the plugs where the bulbs go, the plugs get burn spots and wont let the bulbs make contact. hope this helps.

2008 Saturn Outlook - How do I replace the low beam headlight? If it is not an easy fix, how much should I expect to pay a mechanic to do it?

This has to be done by pulling the bumper off. More then likely there will be a burned up harness (recurring problem with the 2008 Saturn Outlook) the cost from my Saturn dealership is $185.00 to replace the harness and bulb. Very poor engineering when you have to pay $185.00 to change a bulb.

Saturn 1999 One set of head lights won't go

if your lights are dim, your regular lights are not coming on.raely but possible that both lamps blew. the daytime running light module is probably the cause.it has a relay inside of the sealed box and they freeze up sometimes.if your dtr works, the high beams should as well. these are things to check....bulbs,the fuses, wiring and the daytime module.modules are about 100 bucks or so,and if you follow the headlight wiring sometimes you can find it.
