In most GM cars you can access the headlight bulb for replacement by removing the entire headlight assembly. This is usually held in place with 3 -10 millmimeter bolts. Use a towel over your painted bumber cover to keep from scratching as you remove the assembly. You can then access the bulb insert on the rear of the assembly. Be sure to use gloves when handling the new bulb...our hands emit a grease that shortens the life of the halogen bulbs. Also use bulb grease at the base of the bulb to insure good contact and moisture elimination. If you consider replacing both low beam front bulbs, look at the Sylvania Silver Star replacements. These are legal and are 3 times the candle power of the original bulb...you will enjoy the difference. The Silver Stat is available in 2 models...$35. to $45. for two. Hope this helps.

replacement bulbs are done from the inside of the engine compartment by opening the hood and finding the socket and twisting of the socket and the bulb will be attached to it and then you just twist bulb out and install new bulb

There are many emission sensors in the car that will make the engine light come ON. Not to mention the big list of trouble codes for the engine light.
Best way to find out what's going on engine light is to have an auto-parts store hook up a engine code reader and tell you what the code means and the problem. Most auto-part store will do this for free.
