The wipers quit on my 06 cruiser. they had been coming on and off by themselves for a while and then just quit. the back wipers work fine.

If there is no other problem with the vehicle, for example door locks chattering, inside lights turning on intermitently, then it is simply a problem with the wiper relay or the wiper switch inside the lever. Hopefully the rear wiper is ok.

When they won't park it's 99% need new wiper motor

It may be related to TSB 08-027-06 which calls for a TIPM software update. The TIPM module is part of what controls the rear wiper. You will be stuck going to a dealer to have the software update performed though.

take the motor loose from the car leave plugged into harness ground motor turn on switch and see if motor will rotate on its on if it does you have installed on wrong side of stops or 180 degrees out if it does not you will have to find out why no power is going to motor start with fuse and work your way to motor ,

take the gearbox off on the end of the motor and check the auto park contacts.or just change it with one from a scrapyard

the fuse box is under the hood basically behind the battery but if the power windows are workng the fuse is good.you may have a wiring problem or a bad motor

Sounds as if the alternator is not charging the battery. Check the alternator for voltage it should put out around 13 volts at idle and normal operation. If it charges then the battery is defective. A good place to start is clean the battery cables to remove any corrosion and make good contact. Many an electrical problem has been solved by cleaning battery cables.

on the wiper arm at the bottom is a plastic cap. remove it and underneath is a 13 or 15 mm nut line the wiper back up and tighten the nut. the wiper should work.

I had the same problem. It was the wiper computer module according to the dealership. Fortunately it was covered under extended warranty and cost $100 deductible.

you can just search for Honda Civik Factory Service Manual online. Also I had a simliar issue with my 87 rx7 and I took apart the wiper motor and cleaned up all kinds of muck inside. Put it back together and it works fine now.
