Question about 1998 Mercury Mystique
I have the base am/fm tape deck in my mystique and was hoping to finally upgrade to a cd player. Is this a difficult procedure? No amps or anything like that just basic CD player. Also, what wattage should i look for so as to not drain the battery or whatever. thanks
I just bought the same car recently and my son installed a cd/satellite/radio player into it with no problems. A high-end one that he took out of one of his cars. He's an audio freak that works in a high-performance car accessory shop. The only thing extra he had to install was some kind of wiring adapter to mate it with the existing factory radio harness. It only cost a few bucks. I think about $15.00. And there was no worries about wattage or anything else. Been using the player for about six-weeks now with no problems. If you remind me, I'll ask him about that wiring adapter....
