More detail information would help. Does it turn over and not start ? When turning the key, does it do anything ?

Have you determined the ignition switch is not the cause? Hold the switch slightly forward after start but not enough to engage starter, if it keeps running the ignition starter switch is defective.

It seems as though you've proven that the fan is okay.. My guess is that the car's temperature runs well and normal as you're going down the highway at a good clip. The fan will be controlled by switches, relays and possibly the computer. You might have to go to the shop to figure out just what it is. Good luck..
