Welch Allyn EKG CP100, on resetting, start up screen comes up but then 3 beeps and shuts off?.

only a guess .. sounds like you need to reload software from disc! or ifyiu know how. reset whilevpowered up . replace power and restart hopefully will restart without a reload .

Welch Allyn CP200 startup screen fine, then 3 beeps and screen changes to coloured bars. Reset button makes no difference. I note that the battery is missing. Is that the fault?

Try cleaning ear probe tip with alcohol. This sounds like the oil' earwax on the sensor routine.
