GPS signals. If I exit navigation and from the main menu select setup, I can reset the GPS and then go back into navigation, this seems to cure the issue but it may return. I think the root cause is a
gps but it tells me to stop navigation first. I deleted all my recent addresses and favorites so I didn't have any but it still says stop navigation first. The screen that comes up is my last location

finedrive 400 i need to recalibrate the unit exit navigation, go to setup. there you will see calibration for the screen and gps reset. other than those, no other calibration is available.
driving it kicks in try doing a GPS reset, exit navigation, tap on setup and go to gps reset, this may clear old almanac data from the gps receiver. if not, you may have one that is loosing its memory
