Some of these have oil sensors.. you could bypass it just to check if this is the problem .. check the oil !! there is a solenoid on the carb also that shuts the gas off..jay

lift your seat and look at the label that you got your model number from. to the right of the model number is the serial number. the first six digits of the serial number is the date your tractor was made - for example: serial no. 060802D002756 would make the unit made June 8, 2002
I would bet you have a fuel problem. Either the carb is clogged and dirty or needs adjustment. Try opening the screw on the bottom of the carbuerator about a half turn see if that improves it. Also check the air filter and clean it.
