The Apple iPod touch Portable Media Center, where you can
play your favorite music, watch movies and TV programs and web access via
mobile Safari app. The iPod Touch comes with a card native application called
"Google Maps" but you can also install new card and travel-related
applications. The quickest way is to install new applications directly via the
"App Store", located on the home screen of an IOS device.
1. Press the "Home" button on the iPod touch and
move the cursor over the words of background reading "Slide to
unlock."
2. Touch the "App Store" icon; go to the
"Search" and type "maps" into the search field.
"MapQuest 4 Mobile" and "Google Earth" are two popular
alternatives to the "Google Maps" pre-installed application.
3. Touch the list and press the "Free" or the
price down. If it is a free application, tap "Install" to confirm.
Otherwise, press the "Buy Now" to confirm that you want to buy a new
application. The software will automatically download and install on your iPod
touch.
4. Let the "App Store" by the "Home"
button.
5. Find the application you just installed and click the
icon. Now you can use the new card functionality on your iPod touch.
