Battery discharge I just purchased my Sony ericsson K800i in 10 days. When I charge my Sony Ericsson K800i Battery, it last just for a short time (less than 7-8 hours)!. If the cell phone battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out.Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles andwill lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% andgradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR Thebattery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the batterydrops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to anunacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced.

charge your battery with external charger or check your phone with full charged battery.....

hallo everybody i have this problem now.my k800i saying same thing.what i must do .it is not very dangerous.mayb it begun after the last firmware update.help il love my k800i and i dont want to lose it

It is possible the charge port has gone bad. It happens unfortunately.

You have a few options.

1. get it repaired. Runs about 60 dollars or so
2. get a new one
3. get a external battery charger and extra battery so you have one charging all the time. This is about 10 dollars.

Charging circuit is bad, phone needs to be repaired.

there might be a short circuit in charging.
this thing happened with me also .
but when i removed my cell restated it is working fine..............

Charge it over night, Replace the battery or update the firmware useing a sony ericsson update.

I had exactly the same problem and came to a conclusion.

When you are playing in your music player at the same time it's playing use the volume keys on the top of the phone.
