Have just changed sim card in nokia 6300 from o2 to vodaphone,it is saying restricted needs a code how do i get this there r various codes on the phone not sure which one u need

Restriction code and network unlock code is same..Nokia Phone asks restriction code..If your Nokia Locked to network and you are trying to inserting other GSM Network sim card it will display the message "Enter Restriction Code" Without unlocking it you cannot use other GSM Network sim card.After Unlock it you can use only gsm sim card...

what is the restriction code for Nokia 6300B

No the phone needs unlocking. So email [email protected]. For £3.99 they will give you the Code you need to unlock the phone, if they cannot assist they will refund your money. Paypal or credit card. They are honest and quick.

Contact your network provider and they will sort it, although it may cost you it do not know. Once its been done your phone will take ANY sim card.

The security code, if you did not change it is mentioned in the user manual book. For Nokia cell phone, it is usually 12345.
This is the code the phone asked you to enter when you change your SIM card.
The code only asked once for every SIM card, unless you reset your phone. To disable this code, enter menu settings, Security, Security Level, change it to memory or none. To change this you need the security code.

How to Enter Unlock Codes on Nokia phones:

1. Switch ON your phone without SIM Card
2. Compose #pw+yourcode+1# ("yourcode" is meant to be the actual unlock code we gave you)

ie. #pw+000000000000000+1#

*** IF THE CODE IS REJECTED, DO NOT TRY AGAIN. ***

Substitute the 1 at the end with 7.

So 2nd time try: #PW+YOURCODE+7#
