a usim is like a mini computer sim, it is able to run things like video call and has a large memory capacity for example it can hold alot more phone contacts than the average sim, you could say a usim is like when you upgrade the memory on your pc. If it is inactive , if it was working before you will need to contact your network provider, explain it has gone inaactive and they should be able to sort it over the phone for you. I hope this helps mate
No, its not the signal problem. It is infact ur SIM problem. U will have to call back ur network provider to resolve this. an inactive sim is always as good as dead sim. Ur SIM automatically gets inactive by ur network provider if not used (switched off mode) more then six months.
if it is a new sim it has to be registerd first, go to your networks shop to get it activated, also if its an old sim that hasnt been used for a very long time they "die", also it could be dirty, try cleaning the metal contacts with a cloth or an old toothbrush and switch cleaner, or alcohol, if you can see the metal contacts in the phone give them a rub as well. good luck
