Hi there.

PUK code are unlike security codes that are handset dependent. PUK codes are sim card dependent.
You can get the PUK code from the sim package, on the card where you took the sim card. If you dont have this any longer, I suggest that you call your service provider.

You need to obtain a new sim card from your network provider. This is caused when you enter the incorrect SIM pin and PUK codes too many times.

Cases like this, the simcard should be replace, because once its blocked you can no longer use it. for instance, if the phone asked for a security code try 12345 or 00000 or I suggest you get another sim for your daughter.

call your cell provider... they can give you an 8 digit code to fix... and its free...
other forums suggest getting another sim card... but why loose all your numbers?
i currently have this problem... was trying to fix without calling... this sucks... haha
what i get for trying to drive and unlock my phone at the same time... hmmm.

if you have entered the puk code wrong around 10 times you have disabled the sim card, you can cut the sim card into peaces and throw it out from the window since you will have to contact your phone service provider for another sim card or if you have prepaid buy another set.


before throwing the sim card away I suggest you contact the service provider to see if they can help you. if the card isnt blocked yet.. or if you can still enter a puk code you might be able to fix it by calling the provider and getting the correct code if not, its useless card.

Every PUK code is unique so nobody can tell you your PUK number, but i will tell you what you can do!
1) If you still have your packet that your Sim Card came in, you should find your PUK number in there, if you don't have the packet, please read bellow.

2) You must get a phone that is on the same network as your phone and call the networks Customer Care and ask them for your PUK number, they will ask you for your phone number, then they will tell you your PUK number. Once you have done this, you will be able to reset your Pin number so you will be able to go into your phone again.
