firstly you have to login from old email address that than you have change the email address by going into the personal settings...than you will receive the notification on your email , for that you have to got to the inbox of new email address and click on the link to verify for the same
You need to verify your E-mail address in order to use Facebook and FB chat properly. An activation mail is sent to your E-mail account when you sign up for Facebook. That mail contains a link / key to activate your Facebook account. Check your inbox / spam folder, you'll find your Verification mail there.
Facebook account password can be change by logging in Facebook and clicking that you"forget your password" the processed will take you to acquire your new password via your email address. But if your own email is compromised it would be impossible to retrieved your email account unless you have secondary mail. Be careful to give others information about your email account.
there is a way to have it sent to another email; address. at the login screen, click "forgot your password?" at the next scree, use the third option to "Enter your name and a friend's name." Do this, and make sure that you spell each name as it appears in facebook. then you'll be taken to a page that says "Reset Your Password?" and it should show the email address you have linked to the account. Click the "No longer have access to these?" option. then it will ask for your new email and to confirm it. You will then be asked a security question. Enter this, and it will say an email has been sent to the new email you provided. hope this helps.
It's very easy. First of all, check that it was sent on your mobile phone or not. If it is not even sent to your phone, then :
1. Log onto your facebook account.
2. Enter your password and email address. It will ask you to enter the verification code. There will an option somewhere there to receive the verification code.
In this way, you will get your account activated. Feel free to ask if you have any queries.
Thank you
Apparently the software on facebook doesn't recognise your email address as a genuine address. The easiest solution is to set up another email address. If you go to www.google.com you'll see a GMAIL tab. Click on this and you can set up a gmail email account for yourself. After you have set it up you can use your new email address to set up your facebook account. This should solve the problem as gmail is recognised as valid by facebook.
first, you need to create a new email address and that email address is the one you'll be using to create an account with facebook. without a valid email account, you cannot sign up for facebook. later on, once you sign up on facebook, the system will ask you to verify your email address based on what you submitted to them.
Yes, you will need to verify the account with confirmation code. please check in your SPAM/JUNK folder, If the mail is there.. And let us know the result.
Facebook has settings it uses (that YOU set it up with) to confirm any changes to your account.
Any time you change something on Facebook, it will confirm that YOU are the proper owner of the account by sending a CONFIRM email to (the email address you set it up with.) You would need to CONFIRM this email (your old email address?) before any changes take place.
If you changed your email you should have registered this change in your Facebook account settings FIRST.
Try logging in to Facebook with your old account settings (email/password), then go straight to changing your default email contact address (this is not effective until it receives a REPLY from this NEW email account, so it can verify that the NEW account is actually valid.)
THEN Facebook will have finalized your change.
