Nokia 6288 wont come on :(

hey hi there battery wont charg does it looks like swell its mean you need to buy new battery or if the battery is still flat then try to boost the battery power booster it will give life to the battery if you can find the battery booster near to you :)

Try these and tell me the result.
1. Try to charge from a different charger.
2. Use another battery and try to on the phone.
3. After plug on the charger press power on/off button for a while. If nothing happened on your mobile after use these 3 tips then visit Nokia service center for installing the operating system on your phone. If the OS is corrupt then the mobile going under dark. No movement, no signaling of charging nothing. Even you can't update it from internet right now. Because the phone memory is fully dead. Its happened with all mobiles if the OS corrupt. Its was happened also in my Nokia N73.

It is a software issue. Just try to take off the battery and replace it back in and try to turn it on. If it is still the same, then you will have to book it in for repairs as the software needs to be reflashed.

take it to the nearest nokia service center to flash the phone software

Fully charge the battery, then power the phone on while it's still plugged in to the charger. Now you should be able to power the phone on and delete all those messages.

Try a software reset, just make sure your contacts are backed-up first. It could either be *#7780# Restore factory settings or *7370#

This issue can also be resolved simply by removing the batteries first, then remove your SD memory card, clean the SD card up with an eraser on it's gold/copper contacts, clean it and replace battery on the phone and turn it on. It would turn on, and then you can put the memory card back in. It is a common 6288 bug.

Unless this suggestion works, then you can follow the reset codes given by gizmo above...
