Go into main menu set up and navigate to option to rescan. (might be called install or re-install stations)
Note - if it has lost channels it may be due to poor signal quality - check the quality of your aerial connections. You may also have lost channels if your area has recently been subject to 'digital switch-over' . Although they are already on digital tv all Freeview boxes will need re-tuning after switch over because this entails a change of some channel frequencies post analogue.

Tell me about this guitar

Pretty broad question. It's a parlour guitar, made in China. They are very highly regarded, well built, and can be used for most acoustic applications, though I've heard fingerstyle players especially like the tonality. Solid spruce top, rosewood sides, and a 3 piece rosewood/maple back, with a mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard. It's got a 1 11/16 nut and a nice TP4T electronics package.

If you want more information on that specific guitar, email Tak with your serial number, and they will give you a production date.

What does the serial number 171756 on a Martin D28 Guitar mean?

That serial number would correspond to a guitar built in 1959. The model will be either be stamped on the neck block seen from inside the guitar or on the label visible through the sound hole. Martin's phone number is 610-759-2837 and they may be able to provide more specific info.

I have a Takamine acoustic eletric guitar model number eg560c serial numbers 2413693 how do i get a deeper tone do i put on a heavyer gage string ?

Heavier gauge strings will make it a little louder but bear in mind that this is an electro-acoustic guitar - you may prefer the sounds of an all-acoustic guitar designed to produce optimum sounds in an acoustic environment.

When I plug the guitar into an mixing board/amp no sound comes out. From the mixing board, I can see that the mixer is receiving a signal but still nothing comes through the speakers. I own a Fender...

If the mixer is receiving signal, then the problem is pilot error at the mixer, not the guitar. You did not mention what type of mixer you have so I have no way of helping. Common problems would be failure to send the guitar channel to the mixing buss, leaving the channel muted... but we really need the mixer and model number to give more help that that.

Low volume on acoustic and jazz amp type

Ok, so I hope you realize the Fender FM25DSP guitar amplifier is an "entry level" NON-valve amp with a DSP chip that has model shaping tones. I am sorry but this is a toy and Fender did not spend the tens of thousands of US dollars to have built-in tones that truly 'kill". This not digital modelling like Line 6 or Fractal Audio did and so you have a problem from the start. This amp was always intended as an entry level amp for the bedroom only and never to be used on stage.
Jazz and acoustic modes have some similarities requiring mid-range boost and some rounding. Not easy to achieve with a DSP chip that costs about US$10 to manufacture. Sorry, consider using the amp for practice but look at a more serious valve amps for live on stage
