I deal with these type of situations here at the shop daily. My advice is, put it on eBay and sell it for parts. Let the buyer know it has water damage.

The cost to replace the phone would be less than the cost to repair it. And, repairing it doesn't mean that the same problem won't reoccur a week or two afterward.

The phone is only good for parts now.

Env3 turning restarting?

Replace the battery with a NEW one. There is a good chance that will fix the issue. How old is the phone/battery?

My inside screen on my enV3 stopped working It works on start up and shoes the whole verizon deal then it's like somebody switches it off and it just won't work when I open the phone up the outside...

Trevor, your enV3 phone has an "lid" problem as applicable to your verizon phone. The best and easiest solution to your phone issue is for you to take it to a verizon office for them to update and fix it the internal screen problem for you.
Thanks.

I dropped my phone in the bathtuo, there wasnt a lot of water so i didnt put it in any rice. Now all that comes up is the verizon start up screen..it turned on once after that happened but now all it shows...

Katie Please remove the battery immediately and he SIM and memory card. Use your hair dryer to blow cold air into it for a long time. Till you are sure that there are no traces of water inside. Then re-insert all the items removed and power on the phone after a small prayer. Hopefully it should work. Mind you. it is cold air and NOT hot. Hot air will definitely burn the phone's internals.

I have Verizon Lg-VX9200 that won't completely turn on. Every time I start it up the screen shows Verizon Wireless, then goes white, and repeats.

This can be two things.
1. Have you dropped your phone in the water recently? If so, put it in a bag of rice (no joke) for about a day. Then Take it out and try again.

2. If this does not work, than you have a corrupted battery. Go to Verizon and ask them about buying a new one.

I washed my Envy 3 a few minutes ago. I took the battery out and dried it with the hairdryer. Will It work if I let it dry?

That is a 50/50 hit or miss thing. Some systems can function after they are dried. you can even place it in a warm spot like by a heater to help dry it better but there is no guarantee it will work or continue to work after a few days, weeks, or even months.

i have seen phones last til the end of their usage after drying and i have personally had units last only 2 months after that much water but for a shorter time was put on them.

in short, drying it out and letting it go for a day or 2 will nto hurt it but there is no guarentee that it will work. also you will not get a replacement via warranty or accidental from almost all manufactures and carriers. there are water detectors in the units that change color like to pink when contacted with water.

good luck and hope it works for you.
