Downgrade to XP Pro on Compaq Presario SR5110NX

But there is no drivers for windows 2003.
The 32 bit driver for windows xp will sometimes work
if it is a 32 bit system.
You can buy an external floppy drive and a cd/dvd drive to
connect the usb.
But the mainboard has a connector for the floppy drive.
Try to install the chipset drivers first and unzip the file before installation.

Consider to buy a mainboard compatible with windows server 2003
I will recomend a ASUS mainboard.

Try to Update the Nvidia driver by downloading it to NVidia Website. if you still have the same problem it might be some application/programs running in the background. you may check task manager> processes and see if what processes are running.

HP does not offer Windows XP drivers.

But, the chipsets on the HP computer are made by 3rd party companies. So, you mighty find out, for example, who makes the Audio chip and on their website find generic drivers for that chip, that will work in Windows XP.

Have you already installed Windows XP on the computer? If so, did you look in the Device Manager to see what devices have problems or undefined devices with question marks?
