I have a 61 inch panasonic DLP TV the power light blinks 2 or 3 times (not at home to check) and the power gores off. We were watching tv herd a small pop and the TV shut off. What is the issue and is it worth reparing?

This is a LCD projection could be problems in the LCD blocks. There is one for blue one for green and red.Also make sure the lamp is good and the door is closed right there is a switch there.
all 3 lights blinking means lamp has a fault the service manual says replace the lamp. If you need the service training manual for that model let me know and I will post the link as the training manual has excellent trouble shooting breakdowns for that model DLP
#1 When I turn on the TV the power button comes on then blinks 6 times then goes off for a few seconds then repeats the cycle. I have sound over my surround system during this time but no picture.
#2 My sound would crackle and pop every once and a while until now it does nothing. I have to watch it with the surround sound on.
