I have exactly the same problem with my W880i. Suddenly, one day, out of the blue it went half and half, the right side completely blank(yet still with the back light on - I think - ). And a few months later (now). It suddenly randomly went completely blank - back light definitely on -. It happened today,and I am desperately searching for a solution. If I take the battery out, put it back in, turn it on, I can feel the vibrate, and notice a slight change in colour on the screen. But it stays completely blank, and hasn't changed in hours. So ANY help would be appreciated.
Mine happens all the time but a vertical lin going straight up the middle i try and turn it off and on again but still the same so i just have to wait for ages for it to go to normal again

i have a similar problem, the screen will go fuzzy with lines on it then half the screen as if split one half blank and the other fuzzy. i have 2 new screens put in it and been to several fix it type shops with no1 knowing a solution.
I have the same problem, but a step further! My screen sometimes shuts down completly (the lcd, not the backlight which still works). I restart my phone, pull out the batt, put it back in, then try and turn it back on, and the backlight and keypad lights come on, but no lcd. Normally it sorts its self out eventually, but havne't had anything for 3 days. Very distressing, all my contacts and msgs are one there, and i have no way to retreive them if i have to switch phones! Will buying a new screen help do you think? ta

i got myphone about a week ago n it was fine until now my screen is fuzzy n ontop half ther is thin lines going across its soo anooyin any suggestions??
mine has a fuzzy side? and a side with movement but is really fuzzy? its not my fone, ive been lent it.. someone please help:|.
